The SMC range of single wire antennas consist of a long wire element manufactured from PVC coated braided copper wire with a Kevlar core wound on a single SMC winding spool, terminating to a single M5 terminal.
Versions are available without markers to be used as a simple long wire with an ATU or with frequency markers to be wound out to the frequency in field operation. The range includes an optional kitbag, coax, termination options and extended frequency markers.
One of the lightest and quickest to set up antennas of the SMC range, designed to exploit natural structures for support with an easy to deploy throwing rope.
