NL16

The NL Series of pneumatic telescopic masts (Hilomast) features a 127mm base section diameter and is pneumatically operated by an air compressor. Shorter models can be easily operated using a manual foot pump.

These masts are heavier than the NK Series, allowing them to support larger head loads even in adverse weather conditions. While portable use is possible, their primary focus is on vehicle installation, either bracketed to the rear or mounted through the vehicle roof.

For roof mounting, the NL16 and NL22 models utilize a sliding carriage mechanism. The carriage slides rearwards, enabling the mast to be tilted and clamped in a vertical position. Masts NL8, NL12, and NL22 have a 50mm top section diameter for attaching the head load, while masts NL9, NL10, and NL16 feature a 50mm diameter x 130mm long top spigot.
