Focused new leadership for a better customer experience
There has been a recent change in leadership at SMC Group. Jill Diamond has been appointed as our new CEO. Jill has been involved with SMC throughout her life as the daughter of our founder. She has served as a Director for approximately 27 years, and as both Deputy Chairman and Chairman for more than a decade. In addition, she brings extensive corporate expertise from over 30 years as Managing Director of an international property development company.
Jill’s primary focus is to ensure SMC continues to deliver the highest level of service to our customers, while expanding our capabilities and strengthening our position on the global stage.
Today, SMC operates in 26 countries and supplies a wide range of industries, including international defence, blue-light services, border security, general commerce, telecommunications, and many other sectors that rely on the mast and antenna products for which SMC is renowned.
With more than 65 years of history, many of our masts and antennas remain in daily use worldwide. Building on this legacy, SMC has partnered with major global organisations to ensure a secure, resilient, and quality-driven supply chain.
Our team is fully committed to keeping your needs, and those of all our customers, at the heart of everything we do, ensuring you continue to receive the quality products, attentive care, and exceptional service you expect from SMC.
Expanding in the US: What we can offer you today
As part of our commitment to continual improvement, we have been expanding our capabilities under the SMC Global brand and exploring new partnerships in the United States. Last year, we integrated our legacy brands, SMC and Hilomast, to strengthen our global offering. Earlier this year, our Florida facility was closed as part of a wider strategic realignment.
We are pleased to share that we have recently partnered with Compass Security Solutions, a US-based company well equipped to maintain and service our existing products, both in the field and at their extensively equipped facility in Georgia. While Compass Security Solutions will carry out all  servicing and warranty work of your SMC masts, all enquiries and arrangements will continue to be managed directly through us at SMC.
